A Major Milestone, August 11, 2011

A marriage that lasts 10 years is said to be as durable and beautiful as a DIAMOND. I would say I found my diamond in the rough when I met my wonderful husband. Kevin is my everything and the past 10 years have been the best in my life. I am si proud of how we have grown together as a couple and now a family! I look foward to many more "bomb-diggity"(to quote Makenzie) years with you honey!

oh, and thank you so much for the awesome "push present" too...diamond earings!

Weeding, Aug 4, 2011

Well these days we are limited on time, sleep, and outings. Today we "weeded" our pumpkin patch to pass the time. Makenzie and I counted 17 orange flowers on our vines....I think that is 17 pumpkins!!! We are going to be the bomb this Halloween.

Can't Even Handle It!!!

I am a Mommy of few words right now partly due to exhaustion and partly due to being blindsided by my beautiful girls. Every single day I want to thank God for his blessings!

I seriously feel like we are back living in Alabama! Indianapolis has had record temps and NO rainfall! The heat index today was 105!!! REALLY?!?! Well, what else can you do with a 1 week old newborn and a very active 3 year old (oh and an ADHD 35 year old)?

Welcome Berkley Eve Popp

Our sweet bundle of joy Berkley arrived in this world and forever in my heart at 12:38pm on July 21, 2011. (Papa Popp's 70th Birthday, YAY!) Our lives have been blessed once again with a beautiful and healthy baby girl. Makenzie was beside herself with pride for her little sister. I will never forget the look on Makenzie's face as she held her sisters cheeks in her hands. She couldn't stop loving and kissing her. I know these two darlings will be as close and dear to each other as my sister and I are!

I can't count how many tears of joy I have shed since Berkley has joined our little family and we are so excited to enter into the next chapter of our lives of THE POPP FAMILY!
