Too Busy Mommy....

I wanted to just say a few things tonight.

Makenzie and I started our day early today and I didn't get home until 7:30 tonight. I had a long and dulling day but I was able to make it home to the best time of everyday (Makenzie's bath time)and I discovered another milestone in her life. She now has not one but TWO molars. I can't believe it how those little stinking teeth sneak up on us. She has been a trooper cutting her teeth and not complaining at all. Her Uncle Guy would be so proud that we had our little discovery while we were brushing our teeth. (A nightly routine I promise!!!!) One more day of my little stinker growing up!

Her only Safe Haven

OK...As a Mommy I totally feel that the bath time is a sacred time of our day for both of us. Well poor Makenzie's only safe place away from our hyper, psycho, chewing, but adorable Bella WAS her bathtub. Sorry Baby, I think Bella likes the water.

I'mmmmm Back!

Ok I am on the bloggin' train again and it may take me a couple of days to get caught up but all I can say it that we are back.
Starting with where I left off we had a very quick vacation back in May and as soon as we got back I went to work on Makenzie's 1st birthday. I know I am a little anal when it comes to the details but omg....what a party. Thanks to our BFF Erin we flew with the Luau theme and went overboard! Makenzie's Nana and Papa came in from Canada to help celebrate her first year with us. Again another too short trip but it was fun. Makenzie had some great bonding time with her Grandparents and even went up to visit the "Gather" Christian singing group home while they were here. After her birthday came Father's Day. I just have to say Daddy, you owe us big for this one. Daddy got exactly what he wanted. Bella.....as of now a 9 week old chocolate lab that we all adore. Bella and Makenzie are still a work in progress but they make strides together everyday. It is amazing how much they are on the same wave length. It is almost like having twins except one of them it is acceptable to put a diaper on her, the other one would look ridiculous. (not to say I haven't thought of putting a diaper on Bella these days!) Only one steam cleaning episode. I think Duncan is in love and Jessie does her own thing as usual.

In the mean time Makenzie has started crawling....creeping....and now READY....walking. She took 9 steps today on her own will. Look out world here she comes!
Loves.....and see you very soon.

Oh....oops almost forgot Makenzie has 8 teeth in almost 6 weeks. She is a champ!!! (takes after me) Thanks everyone for putting up with me for the last 2 stressful months!
