Easter at The Barrett's....April 2010

He has risen!!! I love Easter. It is so hard to spend our holiday's away from our families but having my "sister from another mother" so close makes these days so much more fun for all of us.
We had a wonderful lunch and Easter egg hunt on a perfect day! Happy Easter and SPRING!!!

Whew...Sun and Sand...March 2010

Everyone needs a little get-a-way. So Mak and I took our first plane ride together down to Gulf Shores to meet the "girls". Makenzie was a blast on the plane and a champ at the beach. The only mistake I made was pointing out a sand crab to her. After that she wanted nothing to do with the beach. Oh well...she'll get used to it soon enough. See you again VERY SOON SUN and SAND!

Just a Typical February in Indiana...2010

As much as I gripe about the weather here I do have to say a little snow is fun and exciting. It's when it carries from December to April that I get a bit depressed and anxious for Spring.
At least Bella likes to play in it!

Growing Family

I am not sure if it was Makenzie's hair or just all the "stuff" I had purchased over the past five years but without a doubt we were out growing our first little home! So....excitedly we put the house on the market on February 3, 2010. I would say that selling a house that you truly love and have seriously shed your own blood, sweat, and tears in is VERY stressful. Too little asking price and your offended and too much you will never sell in this market. Well. We did it anyway and settled in for having the house "show ready" until it sold. Wow! WHAT A PAIN!!!!

January 2010 Charity Game

Kevin decided to lace them up again for a local charity game the Indiana Ice put on. Makenzie got to see her Daddy play for the first time. She had a blast. And gratefully Daddy had NO injuries! Good times!

Merry Christmas 2009!

Surviving Bedrest

Well....18 weeks along and here I am again! What to do while I'm stuck here flat on my back? I guess I will get back to blogging for all my best followers! ahahaha! My last entry (so sad) was back on Halloween of 2009! Jeeze....lots of updating to come. So with that being said I will do my best to update our lives over the past 1 and 1/2 years.

Thanksgiving 2009 "The Rosenstiels Visit"
This was our first Thanksgiving together in Indiana. Of coarse we were the only people in the neighborhood frying our Turkey in the front yard. Who cares is was the bomb-diggity!
