Seven Months Old and its still Cold!

Yep...Makenzie is seven months now and I had to mention that it has been very, very cold this month. After her/our first bout of the throw up virus together, we made it through January. Its wasn't pretty but we suffered through with lots of help from Daddy. Makenzie has also stopped going to daycare as of last week and I have to say she is a new baby. She is now staying with Ome! Liv's Grandmother, Cindy. She is great! For Makenzie it is like having a surrogate Grandmother for me its like.....peace of mind! She is progressing very well these days...sitting up, rolling all over the place, but still not crawling. She only likes to eat English Peas and fruit...I guess you can live on that? She is also sleeping about 11-12 hours a night if we aren't having a bad teething day. Still waiting on that 1st tooth to make its grand appearance so I can stand by my excuse of "She's teething, that's why we are a little cranky today." Hee, Hee!

WOW, What happened to December?

Well, I have to say that this was the fastest month of the past year for me! I honestly don't know what happened. We had a wonderful Christmas at home in Alabama. We have not been home for Christmas in 7 years and it was a fantastic time. We had to even invest in our first toy box after her very fruitful Christmas. Makenzie was a perfect baby for the car ride (8hours one way!) She had such a wonderful time getting to see all her family. She has really changed in the past month from sleeping through the night, YEAH, to sitting up all on her own. I just can't get over how proud I am of her! We spent New Year's with Dutch, Erin, and Liv playing games and chowing on some great sushi. Nothing like ringing in the New Year with your bestest friends. Here's to 2009...May god Bless us all again next year!
