My Mom flew up today to help out with the unpacking and to celebrate Makenzie's 2nd Birthday! All I have to say is thank goodness for Skype because Mak had no problem settling in with her Nana.

Unfortunately moving day was a little chaotic and disorganized so I don't have any pics to share other than my poor baby after a Day-O-Fun with E and Liv at the Monon Water Park Center. Thank you so much Erin for taking Mak and helping us out while we moved. Totally impossible to move with 2 year old. You ROCK!

Selling a house is like having a child....you never really know how difficult the process is until you experience it first hand. So far now our Closing Date has been moved 3 times due to our buyer's, buyer's mortgage company's incompetance. Its kinda like "Who's on 1st?" Here we are packed up and ready to go to our new home and all we can do is just wait....... So, we goof and tour model homes for inspiration. I am so gonna do this for Makenzie's Big Girl room....LOVE IT!

Mother's Day 2010

Happy Mother's Day to me! I got to do my favorite thing today with my precious daughter...A suedo-celebrity photo session. Makenzie and I marched to the field behind our house with our bag of props and went to town. Come to find out I am a horrible Mother and didn't realize that she had a double ear infection!!! Ok...so I'm still learning sweetheart. (some precedence of symptoms would help me clue in...in my defence) I love you Pumpkin....thanks for a wonderful Mother's Day!

Our first home! Yes this is a bitter sweet step in our lives but it is a necessity. Since the perfect time to move back home hasn't presented itself yet we need the space for company. Our dream is to have a larger home for ALL our family to come and visit and stay as long as they would like. (seriously...not joking) So its done...we're movin' on up!!!!!

We spent a wonderful spring day at the ZOO with our sweet Liv for her 2nd Bday. I can't believe how fast these girls are growing and changing everyday. "Time flies"....everyone says that phrase all the time but I don't think it hits you until you are a parent. Children change daily...shoot hourly! Savor every minute....Happy Birthday Liv!
