3 year old Check up, June 28,2011
UH OH...Pacey has got to go! One big thing that we have struggled with is the Pacey thing. Formula, bottles, sippy cups, sleeping through the night, potty training....no biggy!
This one we just haven't taken the time to kick and Dr. Rob says no more.
Ugh! I have to admit Makenzie's 3 now and it's time for it to go! Wish us luck....to be continued.

Our Sweet Princess is 3!!!! June 23, 2011
When I say Princess I mean the most "Girly, Girl Princess" ever! Over the past year Makenzie has changed so much. She has really grown into a very wonderful and pleasant little girl. Not that she wasn't before but, the past four months of our pregnancy have been tough and Makenzie has been nothing short of perfect. She has been through a lot of transition and has handled it beautifully. I am so proud of my darling!
I pray everyday for nothing but the best for you sweetheart.....I love you and Happy 3rd Birthday!
Thank you Erin, Liv, Omie, and Poppy for celebrating with us! (we missed you Dutch!!)
Surprise! June 24, 2011
My sweet and thoughtful girls from Monarch surprised me today with a little "baby's coming" party! They brought gift, sweets, and Maggiano's! What can get better than this?

Speachless, May 30,2011
After a long winter Makenzie and Daddy went over to visit their usual park only to find out it had been updated to this......
I think she is a bit overwhelmed!
Disney, May 2011
Unfortunately another trip we had to miss this year! Nana and Pappa Popp and Auntie Kim, Uncle Wayne, Brittany, and Brendan took a trip to Walt Disney and Universal in California that we were going to do as well. Makenzie would have had a blast with everyone and we WILL plan that trip as a RE-DO!!!!!!
8 Months, June 8, 2011
We are still going for WEEKLY ultra sounds and doing great. Still on the strict bedrest but our excitement is building as we are getting closer! Found out this week that my surgery to remove my cerclage stitch will be June 29th (my Mimi's 89th Bday!) I will be 36 weeks and 3 days at that point so hopefully it won't send me into labor yet. Let's just at least get past Makenzie's birthday!
Nana's Here!!!, April 2011
WHEW.....My Mom is finally here! This week Nana and Aunt Kathy (my mom's cousin) came to visit and help us get this house ready for Baby Popp #2. These ladies washed clothes, cleaned bassinets and car seats, AND even planted my window boxes and planters. I can't express how much stress their helping has taken off of me. Thank you so much Mom and Kathy! Love you both!!!!

Happy Easter! April 2011
Holiday's are getting so much more interesting as Makenzie is sort of cluing in to different traditions for each experience. This year we unfortunately weren't able to attend church on this special day but we did our best to make it fun and exciting for Makenzie. She was obsessed with her Easter Eggs. She couldn't wait for the Easter Bunny to come and put "prizes" in them.
Liv's 3rd Bday! April 17, 2011
Silly as it sounds today was a hard day for me to be restricted to the couch! Today is Makenzie's Bff's 3rd Birthday Party and I had to watch her and Daddy go with out me! It's so hard to not be there for these fun events! Only a few breakdowns today....getting quit normal for me now a days.
I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Liv, xxoo!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2011
St. Patrick's Day started out so awesome and exciting. Makenzie went to school today and was so pumped about her leprechaun themed day. Kevin is on shift and I am off to my "desk job".
Normal Doctor's appointment today too! Well, for me nothing is normal these days as I am always on pins and needles as we go for each ultra sound/cervical check. Today.....back to a 1.5!
Job is over!
Back in the hospital!
Makenzie is an emotional mess!
Possible cervical cerclage stitch surgery!
Permanent strict bedrest....home or hospital to be determined!
Saturday.....I chose to have the cerlage put in, which apparently will help hold my cervix closed till they remove it around 36-37 weeks. Mind you I am 21 weeks right now. This morning the Maternal Fetal Medicine, Doctor Scannel has released me to go HOME!!!! Lots and lots of stuff to go over with Kevin and Monarch.
This is the most stressful challenge in our lives I think Kevin and I have ever had to deal with. We will get through this and have a very healthy baby with God on our side....lots of love and support from our family, friends, and A VERY CARING DOCTOR LYNN BEMENDERFER!
Also....we have chosen NOT to find out the sex of the baby! Weird and out of character for us but....here we go!
Bedrest Update, March 2, 2011
I have been allowed to return to work to perform a "desk job". (Lord help me!) So 8-5 is not really my thing but obviously I have a higher priority at hand. Now at 19wks....this is going to be a long pregnancy!
Let's hope that this works!

Moderate Bedrest, Feb 21, 2011
Today marks the 18th week of our pregnancy and I decided to go have a check up from my Dr. because I was having some odd tightening and cramping this weekend at home. I was admitted to the hospital after being examined by a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist because I was apparently having contractions and I was already over 50% effaced. After 3 days of hospital bed rest and no meds my contractions have stopped and my cervix has grown back to 2.5mm. My doctor has released me for bed rest for a week and returning to work if and only if I change my job duties. NO MORE HITTING THE STREETS WITH MY WINE BAG!
As shocking as this is to our life I know that God will get us through this!
Till my next Dr. appointment......

Snow Day, February 2011
Winter in Indiana 2011 has been a tough, cold, icy, dangerous season. We have had a ton of snow and even had a horrible ice storm. The positive part of snow is....GREAT PHOTO OPPS!
